Gary D. Rudé always had a reputation for being a storyteller.  His ability to capture adventures in great detail is evident throughout his writings.  His background in English, Journalism and Photography provided a solid platform for his writing.

Gary is an avid outdoors man, with a special interest in fishing for world-class northern pike.  This passion has carried him to many distant places in pursuit of the fresh-water shark, that include Alaska, the Yukon, Saskatchewan, Ontario, Manitoba, Norway, Sweden, Germany, England, Italy and of course most of the pike producing states.  He was born and raised in northern Minnesota, and has used  that time in his life as the foundation for creating many of the scenes and characters that appear in his novels.

Currently, he is working on three books in a series called Hank Wahlberg.  The first book in the series, Keezheekoni - Burning Fire will be released by Olympia Publishers, London in the fall of 2023.

He resides in Las Cruces, New Mexico with his wife, Elaine, and their two champion Bichon Frise dogs.
